During the month of April, I committed to running 150 miles to support the COVID-19 fund.  I completed the challenge yesterday, and now would appreciate if you would consider donating to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital COVID-19 Fund.  I would be so grateful if you would consider making any donation at all to the fund, perhaps considering one of these gifts:

  • $1 per mile (a $150 donation)
  • 50 cents per mile (a $75 donation)
  • 20 cents per mile (a $30 donation)

To make a tax deductible donation, please click on this link for the GoFundMe page.

On the way, I even got a donation of shoes from On, and just tried their shoes out and found them fantastic (check them out at on-running.com).  Some pics that I took along the way are below, and also at this post (including some wildlife I ran into during a few runs).

Reached the goal yesterday…nothing wrong with topping it off with a few more miles.

Trying on the great new sneakers from On.

First run with the On Road Shoes.  Thanks for the donation!  I had gone WAY too many miles in my old shoes, and my knees were beginning to feel it.  I didn’t want to go to a store to get a new pair of sneakers (I’m not so much of an internet shopper – really like to see, feel, and try on my running shoes, in particular).  This was a much needed donation – my knees have never been happier!
